Our Specialists
DAVID KREISBERG, MD, FAAOS
Dr. Kreisberg joins our team as a highly experienced orthopedic surgeon specializing in extremities. Dr. Kreisberg received his B.A. and attended graduate school at the University of Cincinnati, before finishing his degree at California State University. He attended medical school at Universidad Autonoma De Guadalajara in Mexico and at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
Dr. Kreisberg started his residency in general surgery at West Pennsylvania Hospital and continued on to residencies in orthopedic surgery in Maryland’s Union Memorial Hospital and Johns Hopkins Hospital. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and a member of the American Society of Surgery of the Hand.
STEPHEN B. JAMES, DO
Dr. James joins our team from Georgia as a surgeon certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. James obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from George Fox University in Oregon and his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine in from Western University of Health Sciences in California. Upon graduating in 1991, he completed his internship and residency at Michigan State University. In 1996, Dr. James moved to New York to complete his fellowship. He has since then practiced medicine and helped people in a wide variety of clinics.
Dr. James is a highly experienced and certified spine surgeon and a national instructor who has dedicated his life to help those in need, when he is not spending time with his wife and children.
In his free time, Dr. James also enjoys flying his plane and is involved in Angel Flight which gives gives free medical travel to those who suffer from cancer and terminal illness. He has also taken medical mission trips to Bolivia and Kenya and flew a medical mission to Haiti after the 2010 earthquake.

LUIS C. VERA, DC, FIACN, FIBE
Dr. Vera received his undergraduate from Rutgers University in New Jersey. He proceeded to obtain his degree in chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College. He is a diplomate, fellow, and board-certified chiropractic neurologist and electromyographer. Dr. Vera has earned fellowships through the International Academy of Clinical Neurology and the International Board of Electrodiagnosis and went on to be a chairman of the latter organization. He has held teaching positions as part of the adjunct clinical faculty of Northwestern Health Sciences University, and as an assistant professor of medical education, serving as volunteer faculty at University of Central Florida’s College of Medicine.
Fun fact: Dr. Vera is the current AAU U.S. national champion and also won the Grand Champion Award at the 2017 International Martial Arts Festival.
PHIL HELLER, DC
Dr. Heller received his undergraduate at Western Illinois University, and went on to study at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, Missouri where he attained his Doctorate of Chiropractic. He has amounted countless hours in continuing chiropractic practice and study, having worked with Premier Orthopedics for over 25 years. He is a member of the Florida Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Heller is well versed in handling a diverse variety of conditions, and offers a continuum of holistic treatments aimed in increasing his patient’s quality of life.
